A child drum set is sized down so that kids can use them without straining. The other main choice you’ll have is whether to go for a 3 piece or 5 piece drum kit. Normally if you intend to take your child to drum lessons the instructor will prefer a 5 piece kit. If the drums are primarily just for fun at home then you can get away with buying just a three piece children’s drum set.

In your selection make sure that any child drum set you consider buying is a genuine musical instrument and not just a gimmick drum set toy. You need to buy something which has the genuine characteristics of a proper drum kit and has been made with the required level of sophistication so that your child can learn effectively and be rewarded for practice time spend on the instrument.

It’s top and bottom heads are both fully tuneable plus it comes with real wood shells and the metal hardware is chrome plated.
